xWith Kobe Bryant's retirement, DeMar DeRozan became the most famous NBA player wearing Nike's line of Kobe sneakers. So it was appropriate that the brand honored DeRozan with his own player edition. The Nike Kobe 1 Protro "DeMar DeRozan" PE features a vibrant red patent leather upper to match the Toronto Raptors' uniforms. DeRozan's jersey number is also embroidered near the heels. The sneakers were only available in limited quantities at select House of Hoops locations in April 2018, placing them among the most sought-after PE basketball releases of the year.
